No VAT on Items for sole Disabled Persons Use

Where bathroom and shower equipment is being purchased for use by persons who are registered as disabled, then no VAT needs to be paid on the goods.
Full details maybe found on the Government web site at HM Customs VAT info, advice can also be obtained from the National Advice Service 0845 010 9000 Monday - Friday 8am to 8pm
In order to supply goods without VAT, you need to provide us with an 'Eligibility Declaration' (see wording below for individuals). This may be in the form of a scanned emailed image, Fax ( 08708 362171 ) or by post prior to dispatch.
It is your (the purchaser's) responsibility to ensure that your purchase qualifies for zero rate VAT prior to making a purchase.
Once you email us the completed Eligibility Declaration and your telephone number to sales@indigoshowers.co.uk we will then call you back to take your order by phone, this way your order can be purchased net of VAT from the word from the outset rather than involving refunds.
Note
- provided the goods are for the sole use of the disabled person at their registered address, they may be purchased by another person on their behalf.
